Lauren Spent Four Days with Me!

    <lj:music>Belle -- Paige O'Hara</lj:music>

On April 5th, Lauren spent the day with me! We ended up going to the mall and looking around for a little bit. Lauren bought a plush Jasmine doll, along with a plush Tinkerbell one. She also was able to buy the soundtrack for the new Hannah Montana movie coming out next week! Lauren said she'd burn a copy for me...as Toph from ATLA would say, "Sweet!"

After we were done shopping, we went out to eat pizza and Lauren brought some back to the BISM apartmentt...just like I used to do! Her pizza had pineapples, black olives and sausage on it! I had peperoni on mine...delicious!

After we got back to my house, we hung out and tried to copy a few CD's onto Lauren's portable flashdrive, but they wouldn't work. She ended up borrowing one of the CD's from
me so she can do it there. She's gonna give it back to me next time she sees me, which will hopefully be soon.

We also watched the "ER" series finale! It was wonderful and awesome beyond words! I loved that Alexis Bledell (Lorelai "Rory" from Gilmore Girls) was in it; she was incredibly excellent! Lauren's favorite part was when Rachel Greene showed up and became a doctor
at County! YAY! It ended on a really good note! She loved the SF so much; she came back to the apartment and wrote a short fanfic about it! I read it and it was wonderful!

Two weeks later, Lauren stayed with me for four days!
I picked her up from BISM with my dad on the 18th, but we couldn't hang out much because my family had to attend the wedding of some very good friends, which was wonderful! There was just one slightly depressing problem: Lauren had to stay at my house with our golden retriever named Kirby. Despite my reservations, Lauren was perfectly fine, and when we returned at midnight, Lauren and I stayed up until four in the morning, talking and listening to her plethra of CDs.

Anyone for Some Demon French Toast? That's what Lauren and I have had so far. We've hung out and just enjoyed each other's company for the past three days. We've watched Charmed together as well as read some really good stories and just had fun. Anyone want some French Demon toast?

Grace told Lauren the Workforse Technology Center program was awesome and it would be better for her. I might even try it. My mother even suggested I did. We had that tour at the new program five days ago. It went really well. The program is awesome and a lot better than BISM. The only problem is, the wait time to get in is really long. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I might just have someone come out to wherever it is I'm living and teach me stuff there.

Two days ago, Lauren told me she might not do the program after all; instead, she's going to try and get a job as a medical transcriptionist, perfect for an ER fan! I might just get a job too...we'll see! We also decided to write a post-Forever Charmed fanfic, featuring Lauren and I! We'll post the story once we're finished with it, I promise! I'll keep everyone updated on what's going on as it happens.

Okay, I think I'll watch some Charmed DVDs now! Well, until next time...Goodbye!

<lj:music>Prologue -- Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat CD</lj:music>

Hi, I have excellent news! My best friend named Lauren came to visit yesterday! We went to Red Robin for lunch and it was really delicious! Lauren had a turkey burger with fries, while I had a salmon burger and fries. Lauren got a milk shake and I got some lemonade...with strawberries! When we arrived at my house, I gave Lauren her belated birthday present...Charmed Season 3! I know she can't wait to watch 'Once Upon a Time' and 'We All Scream for Ice Cream'! After Lauren opened the gift, I played a song for her from a CD I owned named 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat'. This is where the subject line of this entry comes in. After listening for a minute or so, Lauren immediately recognized the person who was singing! She asked me, "Is that Paige?" I started freaking out in a good way at the possibility...especially since I met Paige O'Hara when she and her husband had an excellent concert in Rala, Missouri! When my dad told me where we were going, I immediately exclaimed, "Belle!" Dad said, "Kim, her name is Paige," and I said, "Yeah, but she plays Belle in the 'Beauty and the Beast' movie!" I'm surprised that I could speak, since thirty seconds before (as we were going through the backstage doors with my hands covering my face) all I could say was, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!", but I was just fine; she hugged me! I told her about a family friend who would pretend to be Gaston while I was Belle, she Laughed, "and told me to keep singing; i'll never forget that truly incredible night for as long as I live! Anyway, Lauren was absolutely right! I only know that because when we couldn't find the information we needed via the computer, we did the next best thing. We called Lauren's friend, Jamie up. Let's just say if anyone would know, it's Jamie. After we explained what was going on, we allowed her to listen to some of the song. After a few seconds she started squealing and is like, "THAT IS PAIGE!" Well, Lauren and I started screaming all over again! We're now trying to find a way to burn that CD for her! Needless to say, I had an amazing time! I thank God for letting me spend some much-needed quality-time with Lauren, so whenever she wants to de-stress from the BISM program, she's definitely welcome at my house anytime!

I know I haven't written in like a month or so, but not much has been happening since my last post. I saw Race to Wit"ch Mountain three or four days ago and it was awesome! I loved it, especially since I saw the original (Escape toWitch Mountain) when it first aired on Disney Channel many years ago and thought it was incredible! I'm currently watching Scott MacIntyre on American Idol and absolutely loving every minute! I mean, not only is he visually impaired (like me), but he's an amazing fantastic singer and excellent pianist...wow! Okay, until next time...Colephoebe4ever!

<lj:music>The Prayer -- Charlotte Church and Josh Groban</lj:music>

Hi, my name is Kim. I love watching TV, especially Charmed and Gilmore Girls.

My favorite characters from Charmed are Patricia, Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell, Inspector Darryl Morris, Inspector Andrew Trudeau, Whitelighter Leo Wyatt, Barbas (The Demon of Fear), Coleridge (Belthazor) Turner, and Missy Paige Matthews. Unlike most fans, I really liked Billie and Christy Jenkins...I think Christy deserved to be saved since Dumain and the Triad brainwashed her for fifteen years! Does anyone agree/disagree?

I first started watching Gilmore Girls during the middle of the first episode of season one and from that moment on, I was hooked. I turned on the TV AND heard Emily Gilmore's voice and thought, "Wow, she sounds exactly like Grams (Penny Halliwell) from Charmed!" Besides, Lorelai and Rory talk...a lot, wich is excellent for me because I am totally blind and the more dialogue there is in the show, the more I enjoy it. I also love looking up TV/movie scripts on the internet, so I can read them and say, "Oh, that's what happened during the sile"nt part!"

Well, I'm tired and I think I've talked enough for my first entry. I'll write more tomorrow, so untill then...Blessed be!
